Import Car Service is proud to have provided automotive maintenance and repair services to the Springfield, Missouri area since 1975. Way back then, we primarily serviced European and diesel powered vehicles. Since then, we have expanded to a full service facility servicing most import and domestic vehicles with state-of-the-art equipment and highly-trained professional technicians.
Drivability, check engine lights, brakes, cooling systems, steering, air conditioning, and clutch and axle are only part of our wide range of services. Import Car Service is a transmission specialist using the top computer technology for servicing and repairing today’s electronic transmissions.
We continually update equipment and training to accommodate for rapidly advancing automotive technology. Our technicians have trained with national transmission industry leaders, such as Automatic Transmission Service Group, and other major motor companies in America. We regularly attend training seminars provided by the Automotive Service Association (ASA) and study the newest advances as they are made available in the automotive industry.
Today, Import Car Service has four full-time employees with Master ASE technicians and one Volkswagen factory trained technician. We are a certified Missouri State Inspection Station offering safety inspections Monday through Friday.
Our facility is in its original location on South Stewart Avenue, but has expanded over the years to accommodate modern lifts and diagnostic equipment. We are here Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm. We also offer early bird drop off service for those who must come earlier or later than our regular hours of operation.
